Lithium batteries are accurately called lithium batteries. Both capacity and voltage are higher than nickel-cadmium batteries, and the number of charge and discharge cycles is high. The discharge current is large. No memory effect. Wide range of applications.
The lithium-ion battery type industry chain mainly includes four links: raw materials, equipment, batteries and terminal applications. Lithium battery equipment is mainly used in the production process of lithium batteries and is in the middle of the entire lithium battery industry chain.
Small lithium batteries have the following advantages:
1. High energy density Lithium batteries have high storage energy density, which has reached 460-600Wh/kg, which is about 6-7 times that of lead-acid batteries
2. Long service life The service life can reach more than 6 years. The battery with lithium iron phosphate as the positive electrode is charged and discharged at 1C (100% DOD), and there is a record of 10,000 times of use.
3. The working voltage of the high rated voltage is 3.7V or 3.2V, which is approximately equal to the series voltage of 3 nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries, which is convenient to form a battery power pack; lithium batteries can pass a new type of lithium battery voltage regulator technology, the voltage is adjusted to 3.0V, which is suitable for the use of small electrical appliances.
4. It has a strong high power bearing capacity. The lithium iron phosphate lithium ion battery for electric vehicles can reach 15-30C charge and discharge capacity, which is convenient for high-intensity start-up acceleration.
5. Light weight and small volume The weight is about 1/6-1/5 of lead-acid products under the same volume
6. The self-discharge rate is very low. This is one of the most prominent advantages of lithium batteries. Generally, it can be achieved below 1%/month, which is less than 1/20 of that of nickel-metal hydride batteries.
