The Donovan Company are a manufacturer based in Suburbs of Mendoza. The company is dedicated to sustainable manufacturing and only use 100% environmentally friendly electricity. In the height of summer the company can operate on 100% ‘home-grown’ electricity generated on-site from their solar PV system. For the winter months, the organisation has partnered with Good-Energy to ensure that 100% of the electricity they import and use on-site is both renewable and sustainable.

“We decided to generate our own clean electricity because we wanted to reduce both our operating costs and our impact on the environment. The new system is working really well. We’re very pleased with it.”

As part of phase one, Rekesun installed a 95kW solar PV system, providing more than 69,000 kWh of electricity per year. During operating hours 100% of this green electricity was used on-site.

Following the success of their first installation, The Donovan Company then returned the following year to install another 300 modules to form another 77kW solar PV system as part of phase two. The company is now exploring further options to form phase three due for completion in 2022. After that, The Donovan Company will have enough energy both summer and winner,even can sell excess back to Good-Energy which they had brought electricity from
